Visualization Encourages You to Activate the Law of Attraction.
Visualization helps draw vibrational matches into your life -- the people, resources, and circumstances you will need to achieve your goals as well as set you up for success Many studies have shown that the brain doesn’t differentiate between a real memory and an imagined one. When you imagine a situation or event vividly with emotion, your brain chemistry changes as though the experience was real, and your mind records it as a real memory.
SEE IT -- BELIEVE IT -- ACHIEVE IT!
Visualization increases confidence and helps to motivate you to take supportive actions.
There have also been numerous studies showing that mental practice (through visualization) can be as effective to improve skills as actual real practice. That’s correct – as effective! You can develop and reinforce real skills by visualizing yourself practicing them. Further research revealed that a person who consistently visualizes a certain physical skill develops "muscle memory" which helps when physically engaging in the activity.
RE - PROGRAM YOUR INNER GPS
When we visualize we tell our mind what to focus on. The object of our focus helps determine our perception of reality.
The biological explanation behind this phenomenon is called the reticular activating system or RAS. This network of neurons determines what sensory information we perceive and what remains unnoticed. Without this network our brains could become overwhelmed with data.
The RAS notices what it believes is important. Basically, your RAS is like an inner GPS which constantly looks for data in your environment that matches and reinforces your thoughts and belief systems. We can help our RAS to work to our advantage through reprogramming. A great way to reprogram is by visualizing your goals.
HERE'S HOW TO REV UP Your Imagination!
Consider doing the following steps often to help amplify your imagination:
STEP 1: Find some quiet time to reflect on your important goals and intentions.
STEP 2: Close your eyes and set an intention: mentally state what your goal in the form of a present tense affirmation.
STEP 3: Imagine the situation or future event you would like to work on. Make the scene as real as you can, like a simulation, using your five senses. See yourself engaged in an activity that incorporates your goal. The more vividly you can imagine the scene, the better it will be recorded in your mind as a “memory”.
STEP 4: Feel gratitude for the situation. Always incorporate strong positive emotions. Strong emotion, help you and your brain to feel the validity and thus record it as a memory.
STEP 5: Repeat the process often. Make a commitment to visualize daily until you notice desirable changes in your behavior, skills, confidence, etc.
THE TAKE AWAY?
Imagination is a tool for success. Visualization coupled with imagination can increase motivation, focus, and concentration while helping you manifest your intentions. With imagination the sky is the limit.
Successful people use their imagination to envision the future they want to achieve. This gives them better chances of achieving what they want.
